As a Video Editor at Premieraerospace, you will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality videos that showcase our products and services. You will work closely with our marketing and communications team to develop engaging and informative videos that effectively communicate our brand message to our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to understand project objectives and requirements
- Edit raw footage into high-quality videos that align with the company's brand and messaging
- Use creative storytelling techniques to produce compelling videos that engage and inform viewers
- Incorporate visual effects, music, and sound effects to enhance the overall quality of the videos
- Ensure all videos are delivered on time and within budget
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing
- Maintain a library of all video assets and organize them for easy access and retrieval
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for video content
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the video production process
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors, such as voiceover artists and animators, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in film, media studies, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a corporate or agency setting
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and video production techniques
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- A portfolio of previous video editing work is required for consideration
