Description: What You Will Be Doing: Within the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Sustainment organization, this Data Analyst Staff, level 4 position will work with a talented group of technical individuals supporting the F-22 program. This Sustainment Spares Modeling, Simulation, and Forecasting position will support the team through all stages of a big data solution lifecycle, including analyzing/profiling data, database design, modeling, and architecture, proper configuration management processes, capability and data governance, integration of the solution elements with a larger Enterprise architecture, and sustainment of the solutions. This position is responsible for all aspects of Supply Spares Decision Support to include repair, spares procurements recommendations along with fleet level performance projections in support of customer requests. An ideal candidate would have a thorough understanding of the unique challenges of the IFG sustainment customer base, the necessity of automation when working with big data, and the ability to simultaneously work multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as technical coordinator for Readiness Based Sparing Systems such as Aircraft Sustainability Model (ASM) & Servigistics
- Develop interactive data analytics dashboards to monitor and improve operational performance
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization
- Collaborate with leadership, IT, and cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making
- Conduct Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and recommend strategic solutions
- Maintain and enhance existing databases and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Deliver in-depth reports and presentations to senior leadership with clear, actionable insights
- Monitor key metrics and ensure performance against defined benchmarks and KPIs
- Identify emerging data trends and recommend proactive measures to address issues before they impact performance
- Participate in customer-level meetings, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and planning sessions to align technical solutions with program objectives
- Review system design documents to ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and contractual requirements

Basic Qualifications: - 7 Years of technical experience in Aerospace Engineering (or a related technical discipline: Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Etc), Data Science, Data Analysis, Physics, or Mathematics (use of stochastic and deterministic data models).
- Experience with/knowledge of (one or more common languages e.g., Python, SQL, and R), statistics (descriptive and inferential), data processing and/or data visualization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and understanding of system databases, data elements and/or application software solutions to optimize data gathering and analysis.
- Project Management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office tool suite.
Desired Skills: -Emphasis in modeling, data manipulation, and/or the application of mathematical and statistical methods to apply to business and risk management problems.
- Experience with critical interactions and relationships between cross-functional teams (i.e. engineering, supply chain, sustainment, contracts, business management, finance, and/or aerospace program office)
- ETL/Data Miner experience in one or more of the following: Pentaho, SAP BODS, KNIME, Alteryx, Kettle, AWS Glue
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Self-Service, QlikView, PowerBI, or other similar tools
- Experience with Discrete event simulation (DES) models that replicates the behavior of a system/process by tracking status changes over time
- In depth experience with peacetime/steady state Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) optimization models
- Ability to adapt business processes into automated tools
- Understanding of performance metric measures or KPI reporting techniques a plus
- Experience in Oracle and/or HANA
- Ability to program or create a script to automate data transformations or data analysis in at least one of the following languages: Python, Microsoft VB, Microsoft VBA, R, SAS, C-Sharp, C++, Fortran, XML, Structured Query Language (SQL), Hana SQL, MatLab, Minitab, Java, or Tableau
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
