Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• BLS certification required; chemotherapy or oncology certification preferred.
• Previous experience in infusion nursing or oncology care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary oncology team.

 
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV medications according to protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage side effects appropriately.
• Assess patient condition, including vital signs and lab results, before and during treatment.
• Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans, side effect management, and follow-up care.
• Document treatments, patient responses, and any complications accurately.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety standards, and oncology regulations.
