It takes a special kind of person to become a nurse and we're hoping that you're one of those special people who would like to be a BayCare nurse. BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced PCU nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team.
BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:
+ System Pool- 13-week 3x12 hour shift assignments with every other weekend commitment for assigned department/hospital - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available. These assignments are for applicants who live in our local area.
+ Assignments are based on needs of the health system-current assignments are available in Pinellas County and Polk County locations
**Requirements:**
· Registered Nurse license
· BLS/ ACLS(AHA) are required.
· Associate degree in nursing (ASN)
· 18 months current RN experience in an acute PCU - Progressive Care Unit setting is required.
· 2 years current RN experience in an acute PCU setting is strongly preferred.
· Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.
· Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.
· Flexibility
· Travel Nurse experience preferred.
**Facility:** Region 1 and Region 3 hospitals (Pinellas and Polk County)
**Status Pool, Exempt: No**
**Shift Hours:** **day shift and night shift available**
**Weekend Work:** **Every Other**
**On Call:** **No**
**How often will this team member be working remotely? Never**
