Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Professional Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, extensive knowledge of surface preparation, application techniques, and finishes, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results. You will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting interior and exterior surfaces on residential and commercial projects while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and removing old paint or wallpaper.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Mix and match paints and stains to achieve desired colors and textures.
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths and masking tape to prevent damage or overspray.
• Inspect finished surfaces to ensure uniformity, smoothness, and proper coverage.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and project standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional painting experience (residential or commercial).
• Strong understanding of paint types, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints or work orders and follow project specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and steady hand coordination.
• Must have reliable transportation and basic painting tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with spray painting and specialty finishes (e.g., faux, texture, epoxy).
• Knowledge of drywall repair and minor carpentry.
• OSHA or safety certification is a plus.
