Position Summary
As a PRN LPN at Healthcare Support Home Care, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our clients. This is a flexible, as-needed position where you’ll provide skilled nursing care in various locations (not limited to Peachtree Street). Your expertise and compassion will help clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their homes.
Key Responsibilities
As a PRN LPN, your responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitoring and documenting clients’ health status and progress.
- Providing wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing services.
- Educating clients and their families on health management and care plans.
- Collaborating with the care team to ensure personalized and high-quality service.
- Upholding the dignity, comfort, and safety of each client in your care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A valid and active LPN license.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Flexibility to work in various locations based on client needs.
