JOB REQUIREMENTS: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the

following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists in the operation of the concession stand and nature center. Performs a variety of building custodial activities. Assists in office duties including, but limited to telephone and reception; maintaining records registering park users, preparing reports and completing forms; and photocopying documents. Gives information regarding departmental activities or policies in response to telephone inquiries or personal visitations. Handles large amounts of cash and balances out cash register at the end of the shift. Rents tubes, snowshoes, and cross-country skis during the winter season. Assists the Parks Program Assistant, as needed. It is unlikely an employee will perform all the duties listed nor is the list exhaustive in the sense it covers all the duties an employee may be required to perform. Ability to readily learn departmental programs, operations and policies. Ability to perform a variety of clerical tasks. Ability to establish and maintain effective public and working relationships.
