Job Summary
The Junior Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst supports the accounts payable function by assisting with invoice processing, data entry, and basic analysis. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in accounting or finance and provides opportunities to learn AP processes, systems, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with processing vendor invoices accurately and on time
• Perform basic invoice matching (invoice, purchase order, and receipt)
• Enter AP data into the accounting system and maintain accurate records
• Support vendor setup and help respond to vendor inquiries
• Assist with AP aging reports and payment tracking
• Help resolve invoice discrepancies under supervision
• Support month-end close activities, including invoice review and accrual support
• Maintain organized AP documentation for audits and internal reviews
• Follow company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or in progress)
• 0–2 years of accounting or accounts payable experience
• Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or part-time experience in accounting or finance
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Excel, and Adobe)
• Knowledge of invoice processing or AP workflows
