#Role Summary
*In this role, you will apply industrial engineering principles to support production and manufacturing processes for complex aerospace platforms. You will design, analyze, and optimize production systems, layouts, workflows, and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement innovative solutions, stabilize production, and support program execution for low-volume assembly of large-scale aerospace platforms.
#Education & Job Requirements
*Must have
* A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
* A minimum of 3 years of industrial engineering or production/manufacturing engineering experience.
* The ability to work 100% onsite in Mesa, Arizona.
* The ability to relocate at personal expense if currently residing out of state.
* Regular and predictable attendance.
#Preferred Skills
*You will have
* Experience with low-volume assembly on large-scale platforms such as rotorcraft, military aircraft, or similar systems.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
* Experience with discrete event simulation software such as Simio or ProModel.
* Experience with constraint-based scheduling software, including Aurora or MS Project.
* Experience with job scheduling and sequencing.
* Familiarity with 3D CAD tools such as NX/Unigraphics.
* Experience with APQP and PFMEA processes.
* Experience with Teamcenter tools, including PDM, Process Simulate, and Manufacturing Process Planner.

*You will
* Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches, and techniques to products, processes, and services.
* Develop plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, and workflow sequencing.
* Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
* Conduct workflow analysis and develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to support data analysis and metrics.
* Research, design, and implement process improvements to enhance schedule performance, reduce cost, and improve quality.
* Support execution planning using project management, scheduling, and shop load practices.
* Provide production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility, and recovery planning support.
* Ensure compliance with industry safety standards, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines.
