Manifest Solutions is currently seeking an Environmental Technician for an onsite position in Oologah, OK.

• Perform environmental inspections within the assigned region using approved forms and methods within regulatory time frames.
• Communicate deviations appropriately.
  
• Collect data as needed to support environmental compliance reporting using approved methods.
  
• Prepare and submit reports as assigned.
  
• Advise and quality assure field activities in support of the assigned region to ensure compliance with environmental laws and permits.
  
• Provide training instruction and assistance to others on the implementation of environmental permit and regulatory requirements.
  
• Promote and enforce (see something, say something, do something) safe work practices to safeguard employees, contractors, the general public, and Company facilities.
  
• Provide support during environmental compliance reviews.
  
• Effectively communicate environmental compliance issues to appropriate internal parties.
  
• Maintain all environmental documents and records in accordance with environmental content management standards.
  
• Since a considerable amount of time will be spend driving from one asset to the other, safe driving techniques and practices are essential.
  

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or preferred associate or bachelor's degree in an environmental, science, or related discipline.
• Previous military experience will be considered to meet the associate degree requirement.
  
• Minimum of three years of experience with an associate degree. At least one year of experience with a bachelor’s degree. Minimum of five years of experience with a high school diploma.
  
• Valid driver’s license
• NPDES Construction Stormwater Permits
  
• State & Local Permits for Erosion & Sediment Control
  
• Aboveground and underground storage tanks
• Transportation of hazardous materials
• Solid and hazardous waste management
  
• Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures
  
• Wastewater, storm water, groundwater, and drinking water sampling, reporting and control
  
• Oil and chemical spill response and management
  
• Air emissions monitoring, control and reporting
• Asbestos and PCB management
  
• Pollution prevention
  
• Environmental site assessments
  
• Emergency planning, and community right-to-know
  
• Key competencies of this position are technical expertise, planning and organization ability, attention to detail, written and oral communication skills and initiative.
