Job Description

The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for picking, packing, and processing cosmetic products within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards for quality and safety. The associate will work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to support daily operations and meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking: Accurately select cosmetic items from inventory according to order sheets or electronic systems. Verify product codes, quantities, and lot numbers to ensure order accuracy.
• Packing: Carefully pack cosmetic products using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit. Check for product integrity and ensure packaging meets company standards for presentation.
• Processing: Prepare orders for shipment by generating and attaching shipping labels, updating order status in the warehouse management system, and staging completed orders for carrier pick-up.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, leaks, or labeling errors before packing. Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
• Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Notify supervisors of low stock or discrepancies.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and adhere to hygiene standards appropriate for handling cosmetic products.
• Team Collaboration: Work with other associates and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals, provide support during peak periods, and participate in training sessions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience, ideally in cosmetics or consumer goods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Basic computer skills; experience with warehouse management systems a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills Bi-Lingual a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Commitment to maintaining product quality and safety standards.

Distribution Center workers typically operate in a fast-paced warehouse environment that may require working in varying temperature conditions and handling cosmetic products of different sizes and packaging. The role may involve occasional overtime during peak periods or special promotions.
