Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Data Integration & Reporting Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and reporting solutions using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, and SSRS, along with strong SQL and data modeling skills.
Key Responsibilities - Design and implement ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and SSIS for data migration and integration.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports for business intelligence and operational reporting.
- Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability in cloud and on-prem environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and reporting processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in ETL development using SSIS and ADF.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL scripting.
- Experience in creating and managing SSRS reports.
- Familiarity with Azure services (Data Lake, Synapse, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD for data solutions.
- Understanding of data governance and security principles.

Salary And Other Compensation The hourly salary for this position is between $[81,848 - 133,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
