A well‑established, privately held commercial general contractor is seeking a professional and experienced  Superintendent  to join its growing team. Job Summary

The Superintendent will oversee all field operations from pre‑construction through project completion. This role serves as the daily on-site representative of the company—ensuring quality workmanship, enforcing safety standards, managing site logistics, and maintaining professional communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Previous experience managing OSHPD/HCAI healthcare construction projects is required.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of field operations, project planning, logistics, and daily execution.
• Review construction drawings, identify discrepancies, and coordinate solutions with Project Managers and subcontractors.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite, including field office and storage areas.
• Create and update project schedules, including detailed 3‑week or 6‑week lookahead schedules.
• Conduct weekly foremen and safety meetings; reinforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Manage project documentation in Procore, including daily reports, photos, inspections, and logs.
• Monitor workmanship and enforce quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Represent the company on-site with professionalism, reliability, and a clean, presentable appearance.

 

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Experience managing OSHPD/HCAI healthcare projects, including IOR coordination and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple aspects of project operations simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of construction documents, safety regulations, and scheduling.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized jobsite.
