Certified Public Accountant

Location: Los Angeles, CA | Full-Time | On-Site Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 annually

Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant to join our experienced tax team. This position is ideal for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive tax review experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax return review and compliance, with the ability to lead and mentor junior staff in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review federal and state tax returns including:
• Individual (1040)
• Corporate (C-Corp, S-Corp)
• Partnership (LLC, K-1)
• International filings (Form 8898)
• Real estate transactions (1031 exchanges)
• Provide strategic tax planning and liability reduction recommendations to clients.
• Handle direct tax return preparation during peak seasons.
• Ensure compliance with current tax laws and deadlines.
• Mentor and train junior staff with ongoing technical feedback.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and firm quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of hands-on tax preparation and review experience.
• Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (with substantial tax review experience).
• Strong knowledge of complex tax return review processes.
• Proficiency with Lacerte , ProConnect , QuickBooks , and Microsoft 365 .
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with international tax filings (e.g., Form 8898).
• Familiarity with 1031 real estate exchanges.
• Background in public accounting or financial consulting services.
